About Suzette
Suzette LaValle has spent over 25 years in the fashion industry. Originally from Brooklyn Suzette began her career in her early twenties traveling to Paris regularly after she landed her first buying position, where she was featured in a NY Times article detailing the discovery of a new accessory that became all the rage.
She went on to spend 12 years as a fashion stylist, awarded the prestigious Black Book ‘Best Styling’ award for an advertising campaign along side famous fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo. Throughout the years she continuously worked with fashions top magazines Bazaar, Elle, Interview and Surface, and many more. Styled celebrities include, Mark Wahlberg, and Rosario Dawson.
Suzette spent several years as a visual merchandiser for many of NYC's hottest shop's until 2015, when she opened her own store in Brooklyn. In her new book Vanity Fair & NY Times Fashion & Style editor Rachel Felder writes" in this female-centric store the items are so well choosen and merchandised that almost everyone who comes in ends up buying something"
